Jetlag, summer, and skolavslutningar

So i got to Sweden about one week ago, and it has been great. The weather was wonderful, however, now it is raining. Majken loves Sweden. I think its all the playmates she has here, but she is really enjoying herself.Once we got here it took her and Kajsa about 2 days before they were friends again. So they are really cute now because they play and cuddle.


My sisters also had their last day of school where awards were given out and they also sang some songs. Lovisa got two awards :-)

June 6th was the Swedish national day, and I celebrated with all my sisters in Stockholm.

Majken was sleeping in my bed :-)

New and wonderful apartment from the 70's :-)

Me and my friend Sam recently moved into an apartment about 10 minutes from school. When we first went to see the apartment complex, the owners told us we could go look at the "show apartments" and so we did... literally, when we stepped over the threshold, it was as if we had stepped back in time 40 years. Shaggy carpet, brown cabinets, and mustardy yellow couches. It was absolutely terrible, so lets just say that when we were asked if we wanted furnished or unfurnished, we decided to stick with our random furniture that we have collected from different family members of sam's :-)

So we have now been to a total of 2 greek festivals in about 2 weeks. And i could have gone to more. The food is awesome and its so much fun to hear all the greek :-)

Spring time and photoshoots

School is really getting tougher, but i have made some time to do some fun photography.

So many new things...

So it is spring break, and unlike most students, I am at home haha! However, I have plenty of work i need to catch up on, as well as plenty of projects to work on.

Here are some paintings i did a little while ago.



Its hard to see in these pictures, but there is blue glitter on the flower and silver glitter behind the red flower.

Icy snow

For a few days now, it has been really cold, so first it snowed, then it rained and then it froze. Its very interesting attempting to go to class when parts of the side walk is just a sheet about 3 centimeter of ice. However, it is very pretty out and although it is cold, i have to admit that i am somewhat enjoying it.

Anyways, I have had some time to craft, so i made this pencil case for school.

I also got some time to play around with my camera, and especially with my macro lens!

Florida

This year Florida was really nice! The weather was awesome, we only had one day where it rained in the afternoon. Practice was also a lot better this year, we did more running and one day we did an ocean swim/beach run! It was so much fun because we were divided into teams and my team won!

This was when we were on the Jungle Queen. The Jungle Queen is a boat trip that you can take and they show you all the large houses and then the trip ends at an island where they have a buffet. Very touristy. It was a lot of fun because the whole team hung out together.


The first day we came down to the beach, it was covered by man of wars like this one! they were pretty gross!
